The 35th annual Offshore Technology Conference, held at Reliant Center in Houston, Texas, USA, in May has been described by many as a huge success. Hundreds of Oil and Gas-related exhibitors showed off their products and services to a packed house.  Officials were quoted as saying that "the future of Oil and Gas certainly looks bright if this year's attendance is any gauge."

The State of Louisiana and Iberia in particular were well represented at the show.  Many area providers from The Bayou Companies and Regional Fabricators to NATCO Group and Omega-Natchiq and many in between were represented.  Governor Kathleen Blanco was also in attendance and reinterated Louisiana's focus on Economic Development and the vital importance of it's Oil and Gas industries.
